Snowboarding

Ice skating and skiing at 2 years old, balancing on an edge was a skill learned from a very young age. Switching to snowboarding from skis at 10, it became apparent that a lifelong enthusiasm had been born. Beginning the instruction career soon after high school, the passion never faded. After achieving the much sought after AASI 3 in just four years and a brief competition circuit that earned the number one rank in open class for the USASA Maine Mountain Series, travel was king. Having experienced so many different environments and cultures, it’s exciting to settle down here in Vermont and build something new here. The fundamentals and nuance of education learned from the experience of years in the snowboarding industry has given the equipment to be a confident public speaker and an attentive educator in every field in which expertise is possessed.

Woodworking

Growing up with a woodshop in the basement, tools and equipment were always at hand. Having a father that was a plumber turned owner at a young age because of his skill as a craftsman and his sharp mind that learned how to utilize AutoCAD while it was still in its infancy helped foster mechanical knowledge as well as vision to create something in the mind before using the hands. After exposure to the arts and music, an opportunity was seen to follow the path less traveled and create things that are less found.

Two roads diverged in a wood, and I, I took the one less traveled by, and that had made all the difference.

“Amazing video and captured in just a couple of minutes the pure joy I felt celebrating my milestone birthday with my family and friends. It was just a welcome surprise to see this video that I didn't even realize Andrew was filming. Everything was candid so it was nice to not even notice the camera.”
